Ascending Dove Care Facility, Inc. is licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services as a provider of Residential, Respite and In Home Residential Supports.
Our Team
Nichelle Cooper
B.S. / MT /QIDP/ QMHP
I serve as Program Administrator and am an owner of Ascending Dove. I have been providing services to individuals with ID for over 15 years. I am a former Special Educator with Henrico County Public Schools and love going to work each day.
Eva Rufus
I serve as Director and am an owner of Ascending Dove with my daughter. I have been providing services to individuals with disabilities for over 10 years. I served as an Instructional Assistant in Henrico County Public Schools for several years.​
Our Philosophy
It is the philosophy of Ascending Dove Care Facility, Inc. to treat each individual with dignity, respecting choice, encouraging independence, and providing opportunities for growth, through consistent, individualized programming. Our services will be developed, implemented, and monitored to ensure individualized needs are met and the health and safety of individuals are maintained.
Our Mission
It is the mission of Ascending Dove Care Facility, Inc. to provide a home-like residential program to adults with Intellectual Disabilities, which promotes their quality of life in the community through training, support, and care.
